Prof Helen E O’Connell AO MD, FRACS, MMed, MBBS, FAICD
Professor O’Connell is the President of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (2023-2025). An academic Urologist based in Melbourne, she was Director of Surgery and Head of Urology at Western Health from 2016-21. She was Councilor for Royal Australasian College of Surgeons 2005 - 2014. She was the Urology lead for the Australian Pelvic Floor Procedure Registry (APFPR). She is an expert in local anaesthetic Botox injections and recognised authority in Female and Functional Urology.
